Welcome to The Marlowe Circle. By accessing or using our website, services, coaching programs, or membership offerings (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Who We Are

The Marlowe Circle is a private matchmaking and relationship-coaching service for gay men seeking lasting love, meaningful partnership, and marriage-minded connection. We are based in Chicago, Illinois and serve clients nationwide.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent that all information you provide is truthful, accurate, and complete, and that you are joining for sincere relationship-seeking purposes.

3. Membership and Coaching

Membership and coaching engagements are personal to you and non-transferable. Specific deliverables, session counts, durations, and pricing are described at the time of enrollment. We reserve the right to decline or end a membership or coaching relationship at our discretion, including for conduct that is dishonest, disrespectful, unsafe, or inconsistent with the values of the community.

4. Payments, Renewals, and Refunds

Fees are charged in U.S. dollars and are due at the time of enrollment unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel future renewals at any time through your account or by contacting us. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

5. Confidentiality and Discretion

We treat your participation, profile, and communications with care and discretion. You agree to extend the same respect to other members: do not share, screenshot, forward, or publish private information, photos, or introductions made through the Services without explicit consent.

6. Code of Conduct

You agree to engage honestly and respectfully. You will not harass, threaten, deceive, solicit, or discriminate against any member, coach, or staff member. Catfishing, fraudulent profiles, and use of the Services for commercial solicitation are strictly prohibited.

7. No Guarantees

Relationships are personal and individual results vary. While we work diligently to support you, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, match, engagement, or marriage.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and coaching materials, is owned by or licensed to The Marlowe Circle and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links and Tools

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Marlowe Circle and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to the community. You may stop using the Services at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
